How to Clean The Windows in Your Car
Car Windows are the hardest to get streak free what a dreaded task this can be! However, with these instructions I think you can improve your chances at getting that streak free look your after!
Instructions
Once you get all your supplies from the store, begin by parking your vehicle in the shade (in a garage is the best place). This is a very important step, if the sun heats up your chemicals that you are using to clean the windows (while your wiping the windows) you will have streaks like you won't believe and you will sit there all day trying to wipe them away!
Step 2 First and foremost you must get the dirty film off your glass, especially if your a smoker or the previous owner was a smoker. You will do this by mixing some ammonia and water and about 1/2 a cup ammonia to a gallon of water in a clean bucket, then start soaking a micro fiber towel and ringing it out in the mix. Then wipe the entire surface of the window with the micro fiber, removing all coats of dirt film. Every few windows you wipe, put the towel back in the bucket and rinse and ring!
Step 3 Once you go around the whole car with ammonia mix go ahead and spray the foaming cleaner on the windows and then wipe them with some balled up newspaper until streak free, be sure to use new paper with every section you do, because the paper will start to leave little pieces all over the place. When you are done you should have some pretty clear windows!
