Default Coolsat 6100, 7000 and 7100 Fix Error Fail

Coolsat 6100, 7000 and 7100 Fix Error Fail
The Error messaged displayed on the receiver is most often caused by an incomplete loading of a modified bin.
To recover from the error, you must re-flash the receiver with the Factory Flash using the RS232 serial cable.
Download and unzip the factory .ird file.
Also download the Loader program if you don't already have it place the factory file the same directory or folder as the loader.
Then follow these simple steps:
1. Power OFF your receiver using the switch on the back. Disconnect it from your TV and LNB cable.
2. Connect your serial cable to your PC and the receiver.
3. Run the Coolsat Loader program and browse for/select the extracted factory ird file, and set the comport.
4. Position the mouse cursor over the Download button in the Loader program and be prepared to click it as soon as you turn on the Power rocker switch on the back of the receiver.
Timing is everything in this step and you may have to repeat it more than once to get the timing just right.
5. When the factory flash has successfully completed, the receiver will reboot and display a series of dashes (----) on the LED panel. Power down the receiver using the switch on the back and reconnect it to your television and LNB cable.
6. Turn on the receiver as well as your TV set. Press the Menu button on your remote and navigate to the Installation option. Select the System Recovery option and select Yes then press the OK selection to restore the receiver to its Factory Default settings.
After completion, select the language of your choice and also set your time zone. After the time zone has been set, the Installation menu will ask if you want to Auto Detect your satellites and switch settings. Select NO at this time.
7. Now repeat the above procedure and reload the Factory file as a safeguard. Then repeat step 6.
8. Assuming that everything completed successfully, you can now flash the receiver with the latest NorW bin for your receiver and either allow the Auto Detect option to proceed after the System Recovery step or just manually configure your dish settings and scan for channels.

Remember The key is in the timing. The timing is everything!
This procedure works for the6100, 7000 and 7100 also.

Good Luck
