How to Clear NVRAM on the 4000, 5000, & 6000
If you have problems your receiver and a factory default isn't clearing it up, clearing the NVRAM can sometimes help.

* Make sure the receiver is powered on, but in standby mode.
* Press and hold the channel up button on the front of the receiver and then press the power button.
* Use the remote to move to NVRAM and press OK to clear
