The satellite file in the current Stealth HD bins does not have all the TPs because DN has been moving things around. Here's what you can do to add the TPs to scan most (if not all) HD channels. This is current as of today but the spot local beams have not been tested. Some inactive TPs may not be in use today, but they should stay in your list in case they become used in the future.

There are four TPs in the list that can be deleted. Follow the DELETE instructions below.

There are thirteen TPs that need to be added. Follow the ADD instructions below.

You should also add two TPs to 119 to get locals, if you are in the spot beam area.

TPs to DELETE from 129 (the first four in the list):

11780
11880
11964
12100

TPs to ADD to 129:

12224 V 20000 AUTO DVB-S QPSK
12326 H 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12414 H 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12428 V 20000 AUTO DVB-S QPSK
12457 V 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12501 H 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12545 V 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12559 H 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12574 V 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12588 H 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12618 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12632 V 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12676 H 20000 AUTO DVB-S QPSK

TPs to ADD to 119:

12311 V 21500 2/3 TURBO-8PSK
12224 V 20000 AUTO DVB-S QPSK

To DELETE TPs from your list, follow this path:

1. Menu on remote
2. Right to "Channel"
3. Down to "Transponder Edit"
4. Scroll to "129 E5" satellite
5. Right on remote
6. Scroll and select TP to delete
7. Red on remote
8. Scroll to "Delete"
9. OK on remote

Repeat from step #6 and delete all the TPs you want to do.

After done deleting TPs, press "Exit" on remote, at the save prompt select "Yes" and "OK on the remote.

To ADD TPs to your list, follow this path:

1. Menu on remote
2. Right to "Channel"
3. Down to "Transponder Edit"
4. Scroll to "129 E5" satellite (or whichever sat you want to add TPs)
5. Right on remote
6. Red on remote
7. Scroll to "Add"
8. Enter the correct information from the list
9. Press "OK" on remote

Repeat from step #6 to add all the TPs you want to add to this satellite. To add TPs to another satellite, press Left on the remote and repeat from step #4.

After done adding TPs, press "Exit" on remote, at the save prompt select "Yes" and "OK on the remote.

Rescan any satellites you have added TPs. If you have channels that have moved to TPs you didn't have listed, you should delete the channels for the satellite in "Channel Organization" from the Main Menu. If you scanned your channels more recently and are just missing channels, you can just rescan over the existing list and it will add the channels.

C&P

The satellite file in the current Stealth HD bins does not have all the TPs because DN has been moving things around. Here's what you can do to add the TPs to scan most (if not all) HD channels. This is current as of today but the spot local beams have not been tested. Some inactive TPs may not be in use today, but they should stay in your list in case they become used in the future. Also, some TPs at one frequency may have multiple listings for the symbol rate/modulation/FEC. This is because DN uses spot beams, so your area may use one type of TP and another area may have a different TP at the same frequency.

There are four TPs in the list that can be deleted. Follow the DELETE instructions below.

There are many TPs that need to be added. Follow the ADD instructions below.

You should also add two TPs to 119 to get locals, if you are in the spot beam area.

TPs to DELETE from 129 (the first four in the list):

11780
11880
11964
12100

TPs to ADD to 119:

Please note that 12311 has changed FEC from 2/3 to 5/6. This is probably because DN squeezed one more HD local onto this TP, so had to use fewer error correction bits to get more bandwidth for program.

I believe 12224 has been added to the bin file TP list as of sometime in Feb 2009.

12311 V 21500 5/6 TURBO-8PSK
12224 V 20000 AUTO DVB-S QPSK

TPs to ADD to 129:

================================================== =====

Here are COMPLETE lists of TPs for 129 and 61.5.

If you have all 48 TPs on 129, you should be able to scan everything in the future no matter where channels move ... unless some of the settings change. This list takes into account all spot beams where the same frequency may be QPSK or 8PSK depending on your area. They are in order by type so if you enter all of them you won't need to keep changing settings for each TP (delete nearly all of them before reentering or start with a User satellite).

For 61.5, the list is of all possibilities. This is a LOT of TPs because as of now, DN is really moving things around. It's very tough to keep up with 61.5, every list I got (even official ones) had something listed wrong. For instance, this week TP 31 was decommissioned, probably to show up as a new TP for HD soon. So just add all of them and keep rescanning (there were a few new HD channels this week!).

If you do this work up front, you'll only have to rescan and not worry about having a correct TP list.
