Low or no Quality trouble shooting...

Remember, signal means your lnb sees something, you can get a signal pointing at the ground. Quality is what you need for a picture, the higher the better.

Start with the simplest things first...
Make sure your settings are correct. If you don't know your settings & your unit is working, copy them down now, sooner or later you will need to know them.

Be sure to cut the power on unit from the back switch, not the remote, before playing with you lnb cables. If you don't, you will fry your switches,,

Check to make sure your rec cables are in the right ports.
Check cables & end connections from the unit to the dish. Look for loose connections, black conductor wires, ect.

Check switches, to check a switch, bypass the switch, connect directly from lnb to rec. If it works on a direct connection, your switch is bad. If your not using all 4 ports on the switch, try an unused port. A switch doesn't usually burn out all 4 ports at once..

Check to be sure your dish hasn't moved. 1 degree can make a difference.
To fine tune a dish, grab all 4 sides (one at a time), gently push or pull the dish on all 4 sides, if you see an improvement in quality, that's the direction your dish needs to be moved.

LNB's, unless you have equipment to check an lnb, the only way to check it is swap it out with another one.
Lnb's are usually not much of a problem, but they do go bad. A dual lnb has been known to quit working on one side only.

These are things you can & must do for yourself, we can't help you..
Remember, we are on the forums to help you, if the going gets rough, ask for help....
