Want to make your wrt-54g even better-read on
I thought I'd pass this along,it isn't new info,but it may be new to some.
If you have a Linksys wrt-54g router and want to make it even better try DD-WRT firmware on it.With this you can also convert your router to a wireless client bridge or a repeater bridge,some even are running small CS servers off these.
Go to dd-wrt.com for info and to download firmware.
Note:you can download xworkskiller to anywhere on your computer,but make sure that micro_generic bin is in your administrators documents so you can access it from cmd shell.
Instructions are pretty straight forward,but there also many how-too videos on you-tube.
Versions 1-4 are preferred as they are Linux and have more Ram,but nearly all versions are covered.Oh yeah,one more thing.After installing new firmware it will insist on you changing your password.Do it,just don't forget to write it down,LOL.
