I-Link explained 210, 220 and their new box....

c/p

OK, I have some information that I was told I could release....

First no one ever charged for keys. the keys were in response to the problem with the release of the Nano2 and that box runing Ilinks software and being able to use the Ilinks server. Not very nice but yes a way to show people how well the platform works (ask those guys I'm sure they can confirm).

The dealers charging for keys are just taking advantage of their position but no money was being required from the actual company (Ilink).

With this key idea they were hoping to get rid of those that don't have original boxes (ie Nano2s)

now it seems that because of the "key issue" and the undesirable link that it has Ilink is releasing another box that will have a security type device in it l(ie like that used in the nfusion) and no key will be need for that box. I'm not in liberty to say anything more than it's called the 8000. No yearly fees, no control over access by the dealer... Nada!

So there you have it. the new box will not need keys and no dealer strings,, and yes it will be sold in NA!!

All this was told to me in a dream so don't ask any questions I don't know Nada

The 8000 looks like what it does now

the 210 and 220 will require keys to continue (don't ask me when)

the 8000 should be available in the next month or so

The nano2? LOL I didn't ask because I don't think it's a good subject but I would think that when the key becomes mandatory on the 210 and 220 then they will stop working... But then that's a guess

Your dealer/supplier shouldn't charge you for the needed key
