I-Link 210 dead

I have an I-Link 210 that last week just went dead. Sometimes the green and red lights come on but thats about it. The dealer is supposed to warranty it but Calyani (my dealer) wont back it. So I guess I'm stuck with a $250.00 doorstop. The dongle is still fine and I wondered if it could be used with a CNX nano as nanos worked for a while with I-Link servers. I have hooked it up to my nano but it does not see the dongle when checked in menu. Anyone have any thoughts on this as at least I could maybe put a use to the dongle and it not be a total loss. My thanks for any replies!!

it wont work with nano files anymore. i know you need the serial number for ethrenet.
