A Question and Help..

Hello Everyone.
I'm thinking about getting a Kbox receiver and I have a question. Once the Standalone N3 fix will become available, Will I able to still use my Kbox receiver as a standalone? or it only works through K-hub and If in case there is no K-hub support, that receiver will be useless? I just don't want to make sure that just like sonicview, I can use the Kbox as a standalone receiver as well.

Also I know that Internet has to be constantly connected to the k-hub but When I watch that channel, Is that an internet streaming or the internet is only use to get the code for the channels to work?
