How to use the new "Wish" feature!!

1) Press the guide button or the ok button either works fine, you will notice in the top right hand corner of your screen, under the picture in picture mini screen, there are 4 colored squares, red, yellow, green and blue. Each one represents the four colored buttons on your remote.

2) Press the red button on your remote (its the recall button) this will bring up the wish options menu screen.

3) Scroll down to "wish setting" using your channel down button,it will now be highlighted in yellow, press the ok button

4) Go ahead and type the name of the show you want to watch using the number pad on your remote in much the same way you would if you were text messaging on a cell phone (lets just use the show "cops" as an example its easy to erase i will show you how to later on).

5) Once you have typed in the show that you want to see press the ok button again, you just made your first wish, you can make up to five wishes,
take note of the 4 colored squares under the mini screen the options for what they now do is different, lets say you made a spelling mistake on the show you want see press the green button on your remote and it will clear it for you, if you have passed that step and already hit the ok button, then simply press the yellow button for mode, it will highlight the wish you just made in yellow, notice the green square now says remove instead of clear this is how you erase your wishes.

6) All the above info is strictly how to make wishes the next step is how to make them come true.

7) You will see beside the blue square it says wish, go ahead and press the blue button on your remote, the screen has changed and so have the options beside the 4 colored squares the screen says no programs found, that's because you have to do an EPG update, so if you look beside the green square it says search, press the green button on your remote and that's it it will update your EPG and then show you what channel and what time the show is on for the next 24 to 28 hours

8) Here is some miscellaneous info, you don't have to do an EPG update for each of the wishes you make you can enter up to five wishes then press the green button on your remote for search and it will do the EPG update for all of them, also you don't have to be to specific on your wish description, lets say you like to watch Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown and Judge Mathis, you can simply type in judge and when you do the EPG update it will bring up every thing that has the word judge in it. if there is a certain movie you would like to see that you know is in rotation but don't know what day it will come on simply leave it in your wish list and do a quick daily EPG update if its coming on in the next 28 hours of the update it will let you know when and on what channel. I know this might be a bit long winded but if you play around with this new option it gets easy real quick and you wont be watching some thing just to pass the time on channel 207 when all along your favorite show was on channel 1634 and you didn't even know it, none the less i hope this helps out
