how to program your Skyview Plus SV-P1000
Step By Step: instructions on how to program your Skyview Plus SV-P1000.
1. Open the Skyview Plus loader called Sky loader.exe.
2. Now you must check our setting and make sure we have the right COM port.
3. After you select the Settings button, a window will open
4. Once you have chosen the right com port we are ready to start the file download.
Now click on the File Open button.
5. A window will open for you to select the latest Skyview plus file.
6. Now make sure your receiver is connected to the Null RS232 cable and the unit is OFF. Once you have confirmed the unit is off, click on the button that states Download.
7. After pressing download you will see a window that will open up
8. Now make sure the receiver is plugged into power, and the power switch is off in the back of the unit. Then next step is to turn the power switch on from the back and the receiver will start to download.
9. Extremely IMPORTANT: DON’T TURN RECEIVER OFF UNTILL YOU SEE “good” DISPLAYED ON THE FRONT OF THE RECEIVER, AFTER THE FILE HAS BEEN DOWLOADED SUCCESSFULLY.
