Installing external tuner module in eBox Stealth HD

My friend received his receiver and module, these are the steps he used to install the module and it worked for him. You may be able to do it in a different way. I am not responsible for what you do to your own receiver, so use these instructions with caution.
Tools you should have:
#2 Phillips screwdriver
Knife
Either (in preferred order):
Deep socket + ratchet
Combination wrench
Adjustable (Crescent) wrench
Pliers that can open to at least 5/8"
Once you receive your receiver and module, unpack the module and receiver. You may want to hook the receiver up to your TV and make sure it is all working first. Take care when locating your receiver, it will get quite warm and if you're using a PVR hard drive that will add to the heat. Ventilation is very important! It's best if it is not enclosed, but if it is, make sure there is at least a space of 5-6 inches above and to the sides and rear of the receiver.
Then load the latest NORW bin. Now unplug everything and take the receiver to a work area. Make sure the receiver is not plugged and you're using a suitable work area that is clean and uncluttered. The power supply is not covered once you remove the top of the box, so again MAKE SURE IT IS NOT PLUGGED IN.
1) Remove the screws holding the top, and slide the top back and up to remove it.
2) Identify the areas on the attached picture:
A) Hole for external tuner module
B) Area to place foam support
C) Connector for cable
D) Jumper block
3) Cut the sticker covering the antenna connector hole ("A" in picture). My friend just used a sharp hobby knife to cut it out.
4) Install jumpers on SW2 and SW3 on the jumper block ("D" in picture). Make sure the jumper is covering both pins of each position. See the closeup picture of the jumpers to see how they are installed. Your jumpers may look slightly different. Also, depending on the source of your tuner module, you may need to try positions SW1 and SW4. If your system does not recognize the external module in antenna setup, power everything down, unplug the cord, and change the jumpers to SW1 and SW4.
5) Take the cable (supplied with module) and install it into the connector on the receiver ("C" in picture). Pushing it in should not take too much force, it will only go in one direction. Take care not to bend the receiver's board when installing!
5) Remove the protective paper from the foam block and stick it into area "B" in the picture. My friend is going to drill a hole and use a 1 1/8" standoff instead later on, but the foam support works fine if you're not going to move your receiver around too much.
6) Plug the other end of the cable into the module, with the components and heat sink side up. See the picture of the cable plugged in to both.
7) Put a washer over the antenna connector, then push the connector through the hole in the back of the receiver. Put another washer over the connector and then thread the nut. Tighten it down by hand, then turn it another 1/4 turn or so with the wrench, or until it is fairly tight. When moving the module into place, make sure the cable folds up nicely and stays plugged in to both the module and the receiver.
8) Double check everything, then slide the top on and replace all the screws.
Plug your receiver back in to your TV. My friend plugged his antenna cable DIRECTLY into the module (without the loop through) and it works fine for both SD and HD, so you may want to try that. Plug the power in and power it up.
In your antenna setup, set the External Tuner setting for all sats you plan to receive. If you used the loop through cable, you only need to set the external setting for sats that you will receive HD on (note that in some areas, ALL satellites have HD, so using the internal tuner will result in fewer channels). Scan your satellites, and add any TPs that may be missing for your area (some spot beams are not in the current list). After scanning, wait for it to roll, and you're set!
