Skyview Max 2000 Iks Setup Guide

SKYVIEW MAX 2000 IKS
SETUP GUIDE 1. First we will install and connect the USB Bluetooth to the computer. Right after we have inserted the USB Bluetooth into our computer USB input connection, windows hardware wizard will open as bellow. This part of installing the USB Bluetooth is very important. It is very important that you don’t install the CD that comes with the USB Bluetooth. We will rather user the Microsoft Bluetooth drivers stack. 2. Please select the circle “Yes, this time only” and press Next. After you have pressed Next , you will see the window as bellow. 3. Now we will need to select the circle “ Install from a list or specific location” and press Next again. 4. After you have pressed next you will see a window as below , now place the CD that came with your Bluetooth inside your CD Rom and make sure your settings match the picture blow and then press NEXT. At this time your computer will find the Bluetooth and install the drives. 5. After windows has installed press Finish to close windows hardware wizard. 6. Now need to connect our Bluetooth dongle on the back of the skyview max, making sure the green LED light is flashing on and off. 7. The Bluetooth logo should now be available next to your computer time on the bottom right hand side of your computer screen. 8. Left click on the Bluetooth logo and select “Add a Bluetooth Device”. 9. At this time the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard will open, please select “my device is set up and ready to be found” 10. After the search in complete you will see the skyveiw Bluetooth FireFly dongle. Select this dongle and press next. 11. After you have pressed next you will be prompted with a new window as bellow. Select the circle indicated bellow and make sure you passkey is set to 1234 and press next to continue. 12. After you press next you will see the screen bellow. 13. After installation is done, your computer will give you 2 com ports one is for incoming and one for outgoing. 14. The Bluetooth is now installed correctly, now please press Finish. SETTING UP THE RECEIVER FOR IKS 15. Now you will need to go into the skyview max 2000 menu and change the settings from built in case to IKS. In this case you will need to press menu and go into USER SETUP screen , and Select OPTIONS shown below. After you have changed your CAS Mode from Built-in to IKS You are finished with setting up your receiver for IKS. Now press exit. Installed the IKS Client 16. After extracting the skyteamaks.rar client into a folder you will need to double click on the setup.exe file and the client will install. If you don’t have .Net Frameworks V3.5 installed on your computer then the skyviewaks client will install it for you, because without it the client will not work. A. After installing the client we need to open the AKS client and select the Com port and press connect to STB. In my case it was com8 as shown above. B. Now the client will give you options such as below, please select skyteam AKS server and uncheck everything else and press START. C. If all is well then you will see the exact screen bellow . The picture on the screen should start right after the second ECM. FINSHED |
