Transfer Files From 9200 to Computer!
c/p I did not see this here yet so here is a copy of my post. I have been contacted by a guy called Acder. The file is his great work. The file allows the transfer of files from the 9200 hard drive to your computer. From there you can rename, convert, and burn to dvd if you like. It makes total management of your recordings possible. An area once thought impossible by many. Begin C&P of my post. File will be attached after. Let me start by saying a big Thank You to Acder for his work on refining the pvr9200 program allowing us to work with recorded files on our 9200 hard drives. Our friend has sent me an updated and improved version. This program has been improved considerably. The following is taken from a communication with Acder in his own words. Our personel yackity yack has been taken out, but all info regarding the program is here. This program is a big plus for the 9200 owner. Begin c&p..... "It is me, Acder. I completed a major overhaul of my program. v0.5 includes: Upload to the 9200, download to the PC, rename and delete."...... a quick explanation for you to start: 1. You must have Administrative privileges. Vista users need to specifically run as Administrator (Right-click on the program, Properties, Activate the Run as Administrator box). 2. Click on "Rescan Disks" and select the HD File Tab: 3. Select one or more files. Right click for more options (Transfer, Rename, or Delete) 4. Rename is disabled if you select mor! e than one file 5. Also, if you select one file only and Transfer, then a new dialog appears. You can trim some blocks from the beginning and end of the movie. Handy to render a partial portion of the movie and see the results, then do it for the whole movie. Upload Tab: 6. Select the file and fill the fields. 7. Choose a name. The PVR9200 name shows the actual name that will be used." "Recall to enter the correct audio and video IDs when uploading (to the 9200) Acder." Please join me in giving all credit to Acder for all his work! I was also informed that he will work on another instruction set with pictures for this version. But for now the above should get you going! As of this moment I am still waiting for another contact from Acder. I am not expecting any contact from him for another month or two as he said he would be out of touch for a few months last December. Either way, I hope you enjoy this proggie! Enjoy People!
