Eutelsat's HOT BIRD 9 satellite went live at 13 degrees East today, with television and radio channels transitioning to the new satellite at 4am GMT. Launched December 20, HOT BIRD 9 has a payload of up to 64 Ku-band transponders and has a projected in-orbit life of more than 15 years.

With the addition, which is co-positioned with HOT BIRD 6 and HOT BIRD 8, Eutelsat redeployed HOT BIRD 7A to 9 degrees East and rebranded it HOT BIRD 9A. The satellite will now handle all broadcasts carried by EUROBIRD 9 and add an additional 18 transponders. EUROBIRD 9 will be redployed to another location in the near future, according to Eutelsat.

so can we get this bird musky ? whats the exact location if we can , oh is it linier lnb or circular ? also i dont see it in my antenna settings can someone post the settings to program them in reciever.......if we can watch it :) thanks

here if you are really interested in what you can get with your location then look here and lyngsat this is only ku band .. and i have been asked here before from other members what they can get when going to euprope and i have even had a africa question LOL ..
