How to use the Satopia Channel Editor
Instruction: How to use Satopia Manager, Channel Editor. Channel Data from STB to PC with RS232C. 1. Run Satopia Manager in your computer. 2. Connect PC and STB with RS232C. 3. Enter the menu(STB) -> File Tools ->Channel Data Upload. 4. You can see system message - "Connecting the STB" in another window in TV. 5. Click the button(notebook-left one) of which name is "Load Database from Set Top Box to PC" in Satopia Manager. You can check it out when you just place the mouse on the button. 6. Then channel download will start. 7. When the download is finished, you can edit/resort or so. 8. To save channel data, select File->save (in Satopia manager). 9. You can name it whatever you want, but should be ".SI" format. Channel Data from PC to STB with RS232C. 1. Run Satopia Manager in your PC. 2. Connect PC and STB with RS232C. 3. Open a ".SI" file in Satopia Manager. 4. Click the button(notebook-right one) of which name is "Load Database from PC to Set Top Box" In Satopia Manager. You can check it out when you just place the mouse on the button.d 5. Cycle power off and on-STB, then channel data download will start. Channel Data Update via USB port. 1. Copy ".SI" file to USB Media. 2. Enter the Menu ->File Tools -> USB Explorer. 3. Select ".SI" file and push RED button. 4. Then, channel data download will start. 1. "Channel data" covers Sat list, TP list, LNB settings, and User settings(Channel data/Fav list). 2. But, it does not cover Key data. 3. Only factory software(PC to STB) can be downloaded via RS232C. a. Run Satopia Manager in your PC. b. Connect PC and STB with RS232C. c. Open ".DLP" file in Satopia Manager. d. Click the button(UP+hand) of which name is "Soft upgrade from PC DLP file"In Satopia Manager. You can check it out when you just place the mouse on the button. e. Cycle power off and on-STB, then S/W download will start. |
