Half in?

Hi, when I log in it shows me as being active(logged in but I am not getting access to any of the vip portions of the website. Toolbars stay the same as if I were a guest. No user cp no vip forums showing etc. Just trying to set up my sig etc.

log out and then back in bro. as for VIP section we dont actually have one bro. this is a free site to everyone. VIP just helps pay the bills here. let me know after logging out if when you login again if you cant edit your sig

MOD, I tried that a few times and no help. When i log in it takes it ok but as I navigate around the site ( click on forums etc.) it is like i have logged out. The upper right part of the page switches back to login instead of showing me as logged in, message notification etc. The mainpage user list still shows me as logged on but I dont have the user cp icon etc as if i am not logged in. When i click on chat it takes me to the smilie page etc. I am sure this site works the same as some other one that I have used and I have never had an issue there.( so I don't think it is user error lol)
Any suggestions?

hi man . 1 other thing you can try is Log in on front page
then go in main forums page if still not logged in -- log in again on that page then Close window ..

Come Back and see if it is working ..

Also not sure if you are running FireFox
but lots of members have a little trouble here using that at first

and i hate "Firefox <- sucks" so i dont have it and cant test things out ..

You made this thread so you have to be logged in to do that
it may just not be showing you as logged in on every page yet ?


You May also have to clean your cookies then try and log back in ..

Tried that a few times.lets me log in ok but when i navigate back it is like i am not logged in sort of. I am using google chrome as a browser and have not had any issues with it at other sat sites-(FF).
I will try with IE (microsoft sucks) and let you know if it is any different.

ssk try ie8 that is one good program bro. i use it and is very fast

I tried with IE 7 and still exactly the same. shows me as logged in if i am in a forum and theb when i go back to the forum list page or the main page it shows me as not logged in I have put two pics in an album in my cp (I can get there from the live link on my name only) The first pic is logged in in this forum. the second pic shows the screen after i click on Back to homepage. The homepage, forum page (nochatbox) and the chatbox (smilie window0 all act like I am not logged in but when i click into a forum it recognizes that I am logged in.

yes i have cleared all my cookies, etc from both browsers before going to this website.

PS - i should say why i hate firefox
this is off topic but i have tried Chrome as well
and its OK .. but last i tried it they still had lots of work to do ..

Firefox , Chrome may be OK for people that just Surf around
but with some sites im in to and some scripts i work with
Firefox - doesn't look as good and dont show all scripts
Chrome - looks good but don't show all scripts that some sites have running
that's why i like IE the best as it will show every thing on every site you go to ..
But this is just me "to each is own" im in to lots of different scripts is all ..

Just FYI, I signed up and logged in no trouble this morning. went to the forums section and there was a chatbox at the top like i expected etc. then browsed a few forums, read some jokes in the humor section then clicked on the forums link to take me back. That is when i noticed that the chat box was gone and i was getting the headers like I was not logged in. Still the same with two different browsers (chrome & IE7) forums treat me like I am logged in mainpages dont? No access to chat etc.
Any more suggestions would be appreciated. sorry to be a pain in the ... but at least I am bugging you when charlie is quiet.
