pvr 7000 dual tuner conection

now I got 1 prv7000, in order the dual tuner works, I need to run other wire from the switch

but some one have try?: ( i want to know if that works)
to put a split so I can to plug 1 wire in each tuner

the problems is now I need to change the switch because a have another reciever, I want to know if I can use dual tuner in the new one without change the switch and put another wire.
