After installing the latest bin, I decided to perform a blind scan, after which none of the channels seemed to work and after constant reading and reattempts of autoscans and blind scans i came up with best outcome possible, however it still was not as good as how I had it before. For example, there are many duplicates and some channels just don't work, such as Disney Channel East & West. I'm on dn with Echostar 7 119.0W. Any Help?

everytime i go to antenna setup and change tp to 12239 and exit, i doesn't ask if i want to save, and when i go back to antenna setup the setting is back at 12224. also i've heard you should turn off auto tp before scanning and editing channels, but do u turn back on after?

i have heard that but never known anyone i know using them to do it. when you set your settings will it let you scan from that screen? if it resets back after your scan that is ok. it is a default setting

If you don't wanna see 12224 on Echo7 anymore, go to Channel Scan, choose Echo7, go down to TPEDIT, highlight first TP (which is 12224) and remove it with F3.
Then EXIT, save changes. ![]() BTW. This method is the best to rescan sats. Whenever I need to rescan my sats, I use FACTORY DEFAULT to remove all channels. Then after setting sats up (ANTENNA SETUP) I go to CHANNEL SCAN and using TPEDIT I remove all TPs instead of the FIRST CORRECT one (for Echo7 - 12239, for Echo8 - 12224). When I have only this one TP I press OK... and after few seconds ALL channels are back!!! REMEMBER: U must ENABLE Network Scan (ON). ![]() Last edited by jurek-j23; 11-19-2008 at 06:04 AM. |
