Finding a sat with a Viewsat that is not on the list

Okay a buddy and I was messing around today and he asked me to hit Amc 21 125.0 west... Guess what.. its not on my sat list,,I am using a Viewsat Plat.
I went into Menu./installation/channel scan/go down twice and over to the right 2 more times and you will see add a sat...yes do that ..knowing its a ku type of lnb, meaning linear . I will walk you thru a set up..over to the left once to Antenna config.. you should now have typed in amc 21 125w and see it at the top of your screen...lnb power on/lnb type universal/lnb high 10750 Diseqc port 2 / motor / click installer/ now exit and save as we need to find an active transponder and key that information in,,
Code:
http://www.lyngsat.com/amc21.htmlthis is where you can find information about transponders that are active/See on the left hand side tp freq now that your back to channel scan go to the bottom left icon and see search/edit tp then note your f1 at the bottom of your screen add user tp.. thats where you put one active tp like I did.. then exit out and save and BLIND SCAN Yep then it will pick up the rest of the active tp`s for you..

I will say when I am searching for a bird I will use this as a ref as to where to point my dish
Code:
http://www.dishpointer.com/When moving a motor with a viewsat use the installer option at the bottom of antenna set up,,,, once you have quality and scaned go back to installer and click store position... happy hunting and never forget your calls and decoys

Something that I had forgot is on my viewsat/not all of them are active tp`s so I find a good hot tp from lyngsat and hit my bird... then BLIND SCAN so I can have good tp`s ...
